Today I share a personal strategy to help you stop drowning in your life and get the most out of your experience of it, so you can live and love your life well.

1. Face your fears. Whatever that is for you.

What do you fear the most?

Are you willing to face it?

2. Get in the water.

Whatever that “water” is for you…get ALL IN to your water.

3. Keep Swimming.

Don’t stop.

4. Make every stroke count.

Do the strokes that give you the distance that you desire.

So often we waste time with fears…trying to run from them, swim from them, avoid them, or pretend they’re not there.

When the truth is, all we must do is face it. Get into the water. All in.

Stop wasting time with doing all the other things that aren’t part of you living and loving your life well.

Don’t waste any more time on strokes that don’t count. Make EVERY stroke count.

And whatever you do, keep swimming.

I use the metaphor of water a lot with “sipping on life.”

If you feel like you’re drowning, it’s time to start sipping…swimming…and making every stroke…every sip…count.

No matter what, my dear, continue to sip on your life.

It’ll allow you to keep swimming and make every stroke count.
