Are you so engaged with what doesn’t matter, that you’ve become disengaged with what really does? Here’s why and what to do about it…

You’re fighting the wrong battle.

You’re trying to WIN, versus winning.

You’re trying to fix, instead of find.

It’s time to find out a few things about you and what you’re really fighting.

It comes down to 2 things.

Your attention and your action (or reaction.)

1. Your attention.

Where is it?

Not sure? Look at where you are. I mean, really look.

Give yourself the time and attention necessary today to really see where you are, and what attention got you there.

Where you are today is a result of the attention that you’ve put toward something (or not toward something) that got you to where you are today.

You can continue to fight against the critical voices from your head, or from those around you, or you can simply recognize them and keep moving.

Notice I said, recognize, I didn’t say PRIORITIZE.

Simply give recognition and cognition to the voices, and views of what really matters to you.

Kim McMillen reminds us, “When I loved myself enough I stopped trying to banish the critical voices from my head. Now I say ‘Thank you for your views’ and they feel heard. End of discussion.”

2. Your action.

Wherever you put your attention, that’s where you go.

If you put your attention on what doesn’t matter, you won’t matter either. Your actions become reactions.

Instead of creations.

If you love where you are, create.

If you don’t love where you are, create.

But stop reacting and creating more of what you don’t love.

Stop fighting against what doesn’t matter.

Start winning with what does.

Our reasons will make us quit or keep going. They are either the cause or the effect. Choose your reasons consciously, and create what matters to you.
